Youth Confrence

Youth Confrence started Yesterday, (June 25th) and will end on the 27th. So far youth confrence has been really fun and exiting. The first day we Met at the church at 6:00 am. We left the church to go to the Timpanogas Temple, and had a MorningSide at about 6:30. There was a talk by,Keaton Lewis,Heidi Briscoe, and a former bishop of Sister Wickham's. All the talks were really good. After that we went to a house in my neighborhood and did a service project. We worked on the Fite's yard until one, and then had lunch. Then we went to Utah Lake. Utah Lake was WAY fun. In our teams[ My team is blue]. My team was... Jamie Davis,Matt Gardener,Nathen Lewis, Me!,Emily Brough, and Savanna Wangamen. At the lake we split up into our groups and each made a boat out of card board, duct tape, and a plastic tarp. Our team's boat was awesome. Suprisingly=) it floated really well. We lost the first game though. We were supposed to row out , and around someone, and then go back before everyone else. We were last. Then we played another game in the boats (that i can't remember now) and our boat got flipped over. Our boat was totally soaked by the time it was over. We played water football, and a bunch of other games too. After playing more games on the beach we went to a park to play some more games until dinner was done. When it was done, we went to go have dinner at a neighbors house, and played capture the flag. My team lost, but it was fun any way. After that(and some smore's) we went home for the night( at nine thirty-ish) Today we came at eight. We went rapelling. It was Really Cool. We rapelled off a 75 foot mountain. It was my second time ver, and my first time outside(rapelling). It rained a lot today. We were lucky that by the time it was my groups turn it wasn't raining any more. The weather today was really weird. Sometimes it was too hot, and sometimes it was cold and rainy. We had pizza for lunch, played another game, and went to a park. Then it was time for the decons and bee-hives to go home. (at about 1:30). Tomorrow is the last day of Youth Confrence!
