dance festival

Today we started learning the dance for the dance festival. We are at a disadvantage because the other classes have already finished learning their dances, and we are at the beginning. We have almost exactly two weeks until it is time for the dance festival. first of all we are starting late, and second of all our song stinks. Miss Mortensen chose the theme of Kung Fu Panda, wich is a movie about a panda that wants to do kung fu. so, of course the song is kung fu fighting. i don't particularly love the song, but i will learn it anyway. The theme we got last year was 50's or 60's i can't remember, but we had to wear like poodle skirts and really tall hair. hee hee. so miss rotar ratted up all our hair and we had to wear flowish skirts. the next two weeks should be pretty good though because our math and language arts testing is done, and our science testing is at the halfway point.
