The latest...

Man, there is a lot to say... I really don't know where to start. I guess on Wednesday. Dad and I drove up to our house in Arizona, and showed up about 6:30(pm). We met the first of our neighbors... Cynthia,Samantha, and Sophie. They gave us our keys and garage openers and stuff, and we walked throught the house. The carpet in the mast bedroom and my bedroom was less than wonderfull. We went to wal-mart and got essentials like a garbage can,and mop, cleaning supplies, and food. The next day, we got registered for school, looked for carpet(for the stained rooms),got a carpet guy to put in our carpet by the next day (for a good price),figured carpet stuff out with annie(land lady),and went to my back to school night at highland lakes. Dad and I walked through my classes and found our way around the school. We met a few kids before we left. Megan Walsh,Nate,Taylor,Joey. All of them were way nice. We met the principal, and most of my teachers. After it was over we went to dinner at Babbo(italion resteraunt). ( i forgot to say two things... one-we were on and off about the carpet. for a little while we were just going to cover the stains with big rugs. two-the carpet guys came and messured for carpet just before we left for the back to school night) The next day(Friday) the carpet guys showed up to do our carpet around 8(or 7, i can't remember). They were done by 2:00-ish. Then we went to lunch at "old chicago" and had burgers. Not really fitting that we didn't have pizza if you ask me, but burgers just sounded good!=)The movers came with our stuff on Saturday, and brought in our furniture and boxes. I got the job of checking off each (313 of them) box on the paper. They were finished around one, and then the put things together guys came and (you guessed it) put things together.(pool table, excersize ecuippment-stuff like that)Today(Sunday) was our first day in our new ward. They were all really great. Everybody was nice. The first person i met was Brooklyn and her mom. She showed me how to get to my class after sacrement meeting. My class consisted of...me,three girls, one boy,my teacher. Then after i had met three of the bee-hives, i went with the two twelve year olds to were the young women are. The young women in our ward is HUGE. well, not THAT big, i guess, but still bigger than the one in Orem. I didn't get to meet all of them, but i did meet the bee-hives. I didn't count, but it seemed like there were about eight or nine of them(not including leaders). One of the guys in the ward invited us to dinner, so we had dinner at their house with some of their friends, some of their family, and some people from the ward. They were really nice. We had salad, fruit, pot pie,and a roll for dinner. yum=). So, that's the latest goings on. -megan
