yesterday and today

Yesterday at school we graded our states test. I was worried that i wouldn't do well on it, but i only got one state wrong! i got a 98 out of 100. I can not say i am as exited for the kid whoes test i graded though. He got like 36 wrong out of 50 states. It was kinda sad. That is my second period class(Mr. Hauser-Social Studies). Fifth hour was science with Miss Stegh. She is my favorite teacher. We had picture day yesterday, and everyone was getting their pictures taken during science, so we got ours done. Sixth hour was really fun. It is my art history class. We were learning a Michelangelo. He painted the ceiling of the sistine chapel. Michelangelo painted with water colors on wet plaster, so we painted with water colors on little round peices of wet plaster. It was really cool. The only problem is that mine broke in half, so i had to try to glue it. We'll see if that worked(it prolly won't) on Monday! After school dad came and picked me up at 5:00. I had to dress nice(in a skirt)because we were going to a work dinner with some people he works with in Phoenixchocolate thin. It was at a hotel called the Arizona Baltmore. It was really nice, but SO confusing! It was so hard to find our room and parking. Dinner was interesting. Here is what they served... first a salad.(they obviously don't know what a salad is, because that was tomato and cheese topped with weads from the garden)then they gave us a plate with fish, and stake, and some other things on it. The staked was red in the middle and covered in fat, so i just ate the fish, which was really good. Then we had desert. It was really good. It was a dome shaped with chocolate musse inside. There was a rasberry on the side of it, and a chocolate stick thing on the top. Yum=). They talked for a long time. An unnessisary amount of time even. Then we went back to the hotel, and were going to order room service,a pizza or something, but it was way expensive. Breakfast was good in the morning, but again, too small. We had eggs, red potatoes,really good bacon,orange juice,and pastrys. Then dad had meetings until 11 so he brought me back to the hotel room until he was done with them. I mostly watched i carly and tried to figure out my messed up head phones. When we got back we went to lunch at Mkayos(mexican food). Then, we went to the phioenix art museum. It was amazing. They had such cool stuff in it. Then we went grocery shopping, and tonight dad has to mow the lawn, and then we are going to grill up some ham burgers and hop into the pool=)
